About Me

Hi, I’m Sophia (she/they). I am a Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC) in Louisiana. Additionally, I am a National Certified Counselor (NCC). I earned my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Loyola University New Orleans. I am working under the supervision of Stacie Cooke Rodriguez, LPC-S, NCC, who is a fully licensed, board-approved supervisor. I will be working under her supervision at Bloom Collective Healing until I complete the 3,000 clinical hours required by the LPC Board.

Sophia Bologna, MS, PLPC, NCC

I am a Baton Rouge native who found a second home in New Orleans while pursuing my education and clinical training. I completed my internship at the Family Justice Center, working with complex trauma and survivors of SA and DV/IPV. I have presented at professional conferences and published research on chronic illness, chronic pain, sex therapy, and mental health.

As someone who lives with a dynamic disability, I bring both personal understanding and professional training to my work with clients.
